HAIR CARE
TIPS

WASHING/CO-WASHING:

It is recommended to wash raw and virgin hair with a sulfate-free shampoo or co-wash using a good conditioner. Treat your hair extensions just as you would treat your own hair. Do not use a lot of heavy products as it creates a build-up and this will shorten the lifespan of your hair extensions. We recommend to co-wash your bundles at least once a week to prevent product buildup.

MOISTURIZER/LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER:

You must keep your raw hair extensions moisturized just like your own natural hair. Moisturizing your extensions is essential in keeping your raw hair from drying out. Please see product recommendations below:

  • TRESemmé Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner

  • One and Only Argon Oil Shampoo & Conditioner

  • Carols Daughter Black Vanilla Line Shampoo & Conditioner

  • Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Moisture Smooth Line

  • Mizani 25 Miracle Milk Leave-in Conditioner

  • One-n-Only Argon Oil 12-1 Leave-in Conditioner

DRYING HAIR EXTENSIONS:

We strongly recommend air dry your hair extensions. Using constant heat from a blow dryer will only cause heat damage to your extensions. Air drying is the best and most natural way of drying your raw and virgin hair. Please ensure your extensions are fully dried before installing to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors.

APPLYING HEAT:

We also recommend that you avoid adding too much heat to your hair extensions. Just like our own natural hair too much heat can cause hair damage. If you decide to constantly add heat to your hair extensions, we strongly recommend that you use a heat protectant and try to avoid using any type of oily heat protectants!

PROTECTING YOUR EXTENSIONS:

At night, it is highly recommended that you cover your hair extensions with a satin or silk bonnet or scarf. This ritual will help retain moisture in your hair extensions. If you swim in your hair extensions, please apply a good leave-in conditioner to the hair and put your hair up. Afterward, wash and moisturize your hair extensions.
